Fandom Stockings have been revealed! It was my first time to join the event and I had a lot of fun! I found many stuffing in my stocking, stevetony ficlets and non-fannish stuff... so happy! I got lovely AA stevetony ficlets from my favorite authors, please check them on my stocking page :D

I got many soup recipes... I'll add "try all soup recipes" to my 2019 resolution list ;)
Aaaand, I also filled some stockings too! I achieved 6 drawings, not too bad for first time? I feel very accomplished :D I gathered all gift arts on ao3. I'm glad if you check it.

Since I had set my goal for FS as "fill stockings as much as I can," I decided to draw various little drawings, instead of making one or two big works. Then, I took this opportunity to experiment with new stuff on drawings...
I was always not happy/comfortable with coloring in digital, so wanted to figure out the way I can be more comfortable with, and of course the way which makes my drawings look better.
I tried some new brushes/settings, and a color palette. I found several favorite brushes and brush settings, and pretty happy with them so far! And, making a color palette worked really well for me. I always had hard time to pick desired colors, but coloring from the limited colors, like picking colors from a watercolor palette, helped it a lot. I think all skilled artists knew it, but a beginner like me didn't think of it *_* I used the same palette for all 6 drawings above, so maybe they all look kinda same...aw. I will make more color palettes with different color combinations. Hope this will develop my sense of coloring (well, you can see that I love playing with colors...)
Now I will have a little break from "draw and post" cycle, and during that I'd like to seek for more inspirations. cap_ironman_fe posted a very helpful post for artists... I'll check the resources it offers (thanks a lot!) :D
